A sustained decrease compared with equivalent periods can justify an inspection after considering weather and shade.
5. Visible cable or component damage
Deteriorated insulation, loose parts, heat marks or corrosion need professional attention.
6. New shade
Growing trees, new construction or added equipment may reduce the sunlight reaching the modules.
7. No recent inspection
Even without an alarm, scheduled service helps document system condition and build a maintenance history.
